How is the weather (＋地方副詞＋時間副詞)?

e.g. How’s the weather in Taiwan in Summer?

(1) How 為首詢問天氣的問句，weather 之後不加 like。

(2) How is 的縮寫為How’s，若詢問過去時間，可用 How was 為句首造句。

B

What is the weather like (＋地方副詞＋時間副詞)?

e.g. What is the weather like today? 

(1) What 為首詢問天氣，weather 之後要加 like。

(2) What is 的縮寫為What’s，若詢問過去時間，可用 What was 為句首造句。

描述天氣的形容詞：

 hot（熱的）  warm（溫暖的） cool（涼爽的） cold（寒冷的）cloudy（多雲的）

sunny（晴朗的）windy（多風的） rainy（下雨的）snowy（多雪的） foggy (多霧的)

A

It rains/ snows +   a little/a lot  (＋地方副詞＋時間副詞).

e.g. It rains a little here in summer.

rain 和 snow 在這裡當動詞用。

B

There is +  a little/a lot of/much   rain / snow…(＋地方副詞＋時間副詞).

e.g. There is a lot of snow in New York in winter.

We/They + have +   a little/a lot of/much   rain / snow…(＋地方副詞＋時間副詞).

e.g. We have a lot of rain this year.

(1) rain 和 snow 在這裡作不可數名詞用，不加 -s。

(2) 表達說話者當地的天氣狀況時，主詞用 we，表達他處的天氣狀況時，主詞用 they。
